About me

A well-rounded industry professional, Ashley brings her unique and eclectic perspective to every aspect of her work. She is deeply passionate about filmmaking, from the inception of creative through development, production, post and delivery. Ashley finds joy and fulfillment in collaborating with teams that bring together diverse talents and perspectives, as well as with companies that have bold, large-scale goals and are driven to push boundaries in pursuit of remarkable growth.

Prior to launching Ashley McKim Consulting, Ashley held leadership roles over the past 10 years at Company 3/Method Studios, where she spearheaded sales initiatives that resulted in significant revenue growth, improved customer acquisition, and enhanced brand visibility. Ending her tenure as the Senior Vice President of Short Form (Global), she is proud with all that was accomplished during her time at the organization.

As an advertising executive who’s focused the last twenty years in post-production, production, advertising, PR and marketing, her many hats include management of sales, building of client relationships, the matching of artists’ and clients’ aesthetic sensibilities and personalities, the seamless interaction between clients’ technical requirements and cutting edge technology. She has experience in all aspects of business including sales, production, management and operations.

Before joining Company 3, Ashley served as Director, Business Development for Cutters Studios. There she was instrumental in growing the industry-leading, multi-faceted production and post business. Entrepreneurial from the start, Ashley has gathered extensive experience mastering multiple facets of a variety of industries and growing businesses from the ground up. Her initial work experience was on the agency side of marketing and PR for clients within the hospitality, entertainment, tech and home building spaces. Early on in her career, she cofounded a PR consulting firm. She subsequently leveraged her successes to co-found Los Angeles-based Beef Films and Chop House Post.

While Ashley works globally, she resides in Austin, TX with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
